Acceptance of Terms

By enrolling in Brightvyneck creative writing courses or using our services, you agree to these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before participating in our programs.

Course Enrollment and Payment

  • Course fees must be paid in full before the first class session
  • Payment can be made via credit card, bank transfer, or cash at our Carlton studio
  • Course prices are subject to change but locked in upon enrollment
  • A confirmation email will be sent upon successful enrollment

Attendance and Participation

  • Regular attendance is essential for maximizing your creative writing development
  • Notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you cannot attend a session
  • Make-up sessions may be available for excused absences
  • Active participation in workshops and feedback sessions is encouraged

Intellectual Property and Student Work

  • All creative writing produced by students remains their intellectual property
  • Course materials and teaching methods are proprietary to brightvyneck
  • Students may share their work within the class for feedback purposes
  • Permission is required before using student work for promotional purposes

Code of Conduct

  • Maintain a respectful and supportive environment for all participants
  • Provide constructive feedback that encourages creative growth
  • Respect confidentiality of shared personal stories and experiences
  • Arrive on time and prepared for each writing session

Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Full refund available if cancelled 7 days before course start date
  • 50% refund available if cancelled 3-6 days before start date
  • No refund for cancellations less than 3 days before start date
  • Course credits may be offered for future programs in exceptional circumstances

Limitation of Liability

  • Brightvyneck is not liable for personal items lost or damaged on premises
  • We cannot guarantee specific outcomes from our creative writing programs
  • Liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific course or service
  • Students participate in activities at their own risk

Privacy and Confidentiality

  • Personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy
  • Workshop discussions and shared writing remain confidential to the group
  • Photography or recording requires explicit consent from all participants
  • Student contact information will not be shared without permission

Course Changes and Cancellations

  • Brightvyneck reserves the right to modify course content or schedules
  • Students will be notified of significant changes at least 48 hours in advance
  • If we cancel a course, full refunds will be provided
  • Alternative courses or rescheduling options may be offered
